Just like Thank You notes, I can never have enough Birthday cards hanging around! Seems like there is always a birthday or two happening these days!
I totally admit that I am addicted to pretty paper. I've recently been trying to organize it all-- including the scraps. I just can't make myself throw any of it away, unless it is just too tiny or damaged to be used. So, I went through my scraps and pulled out this colorful paper-- zig-zag on one side and a brown wood print on the other. I just love it! I THINK it is from My Mind's Eye, but am not sure. The stamps are from an old set that is also missing a label-- it is from CTMH and I think may be called "Celebrate" or "Celebrate the Everyday."
This is a simple card with very few layers and no embellishment. I love the little gift image, and the circle and scallop cuts were made using the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge. The ink is from CTMH; I used Pear, Lagoon and Chocolate.
Oh this is so cute! I love the colors you chose for this card. Thanks so much for your hard work!
ReplyDeleteVery cute Kristine. I love the zig zag! Very nice colors together.
ReplyDeleteAdorable! The dark woodgrain paper sets those zig-zags off nicely. Don't yu love digging in your stash and coming up treasures to play with? Thanks for the inpsiration!
