Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone!  These little cards were created with the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge-- so quick and easy! I used the Chantilly papers and "Say it in Style" for the sentiment.

Hello Spring!

Well, the calendar says it's Spring but the weather is showing some reluctance! Here in Northwest Georgia, we are getting peeks of the sun in between cold breezes and rain. The daffodils are blooming, though, and I have seen some tulips, too! It makes my heart so happy to see the re-birth and renewal of God's creation. The promise of Spring truly does bring hope!

Here's a card I created to celebrate Spring. I used the "Girls Rock" stamp set with Lagoon, Hollyhock and Sweet Leaf Inks.

Happy Spring and Happy Easter to you all! :)

Color Challenge!

Let's just say, "I loves me some bright colors!" That being said, I will admit that I have never used certain bright colors together, and there are some colors I have never used at all! Well, thanks to Miss Brenda Rose, I have stretched myself to try some new things! She issued a color challenge-- use Honey, Gypsy, Pear and White Daisy. Only. Ahh, now that was a challenge for me! So off I went to order a Honey ink pad and do some imagining! This was also my first attempt at making the accordion fold rosettes from the Cricut Artiste cartridge. It was fun trying something new! I added a little Pear patterned paper from the Chantilly pack and some Honey patterned paper from the Pemberly pack to soften the colors a little. The colors make me think of Easter and Spring-- and I am so ready for that! How about you? :)
